LastFRIDAY (Nov. 20th) Will start with the “Crazy Love gallery reception. We will be featuring Kenny Liles for the last hour of open mic. He will share new songs and stories inspired by his recent mission trips to Africa and India. Also Xample, our drama team/acting class, will be presenting scenes from plays – Don’t miss this one.

Men’s Monthly Bible Study and Potluck
A Godly man serves his family and his community. FLCF wants to provide the resources and support necessary to equip a man to develop his character and influence his world for Christ. We do that by helping you to focus on God’s role in your life and encourage you to “do life” in the company of other men who are on the same road.
First Monday of each Month @ 6:30 PM.

Family Life Rules…

I saw this on one of my friend’s blogs and I thought it was worthy to share. Wouldn’t it be awesome if these rules defined our church family at Family Life…
- We do second chances.
- We do grace.
- We do real.
- We do mistakes.
- We do I’m sorrys.
- We do loud really well.
- We do hugs.
- We do family.
- We do love.
A penny for your thoughts. Can anyone find anything unbiblical about this? Anyone react, “Naw, we don’t do grace…” You wonder though some churches might get offended by this list.

Dream of an Online Community…

Tonight I was talking to a few people at ArtSpeak and thought wouldn’t it be nice if we were able to create an online community, a hub, where people could find out the latest buzz of what’s going on at Family Life. My thought was to create a place where event photo’s, blog posts about activities, comments from members, and spiritual encouragement would occur. I know this could be a daunting thing but if a few people made the commitment to check the blog regularly, a few pastor’s made the commitment to blog we could create something pretty exciting.
Like ArtSpeak for example. They did some cool stuff tonight. Do you want a glimpse into what you are going to see tomorrow? If so click here .
Anyway, for now it’s just a dream but who knows maybe we will look back and watch it become a reality.
